Gardening has fueled my creativity as well, and I love having a non-screen hobby to lean on. This year our green bean and cucumber plants have yielded so many things, it flexes a different muscle figuring out how to prep/cook/preserve everything. Your crops look heavenly, I may need to try to make those flower cookies 👀
Beth, this is inspiring! I think sometimes we search for our creative muse or want creativity to "strike" -- overlooking the ways that life can deliver creative fuel via unexpected channels. I renovated my backyard during the pandemic and pulled up all my old raised beds. I miss them, this is a good reminder to get back to the earth. <3
