I've attempted to make fonts over the years. It's really not as easy as one might assume. You make it look easy! ... :) I also took a sign painting class and a drafting on paper class in the 90s. Over and over, practice with a brush, or drafting pencil, just like you said. It really makes a person look at old signage in a new way that's for sure.
I bought this font package. I was stuck on making my website for my one-man engineering firm, and this font sparked inspiration again. THANK YOU. My logo (for now) is basically my company name in this font. Draft Paper Typeface is beautiful and interesting without drawing attention to itself, and it speaks professionalism while also emulating the dedicated craftsmanship of earlier eras, as you mention. Thanks again. Best $12 I've spent in a long while.
This is genius. I’m definitely buying it cause I could use it but also to support such a a cool project.
That’s so kind of you! Thank you!
Will it work in procreate?
I’m pretty unfamiliar with procreate but it should install like any other font you’d install on your system!
Just messaged you! Thanks!
Wow this is supercool. So many hours spent "lettering"...
So many..
Fab work!
I work with Czech architects. If you added diacritics, your type face would be quite popular here.
I took analog drafting in high school, all pencils, compasses and protractors and this emanates that vibe
Glad to hear it feels authentic! Thank you!
Buying it!
Thank you!
Great to know! These are the glyphs I have at the moment. It looks like I need to add a few more into the mix.
